Baked Masala Peanuts - crunchy, spicy roasted peanuts which are baked in the oven making them a healthier alternative to deep frying. These spiced peanuts make a great snack with tea or coffee.Preparation Time: 5 minutes Cooking Time: 30 minutes Makes:Ingredients2 cups raw peanuts with their skin on4 tablespoon gram flour (besan)1 tablespoon oil1 teaspoon or more of chilli powder (depending upon preferred spice level)¼ teaspoon Asafoetida (hing)A few curry leavesSalt, as per taste½ teaspoon garlic powder or ginger-garlic paste (optional)Method:Mix all the ingredients in a big bowl along with a little water so that all the flour and spices stick and coat the peanuts.
