Fruits can be a healthy way to start your day. They can also be consumed as snacks to curb mid-meal hunger. Fruits can be had in many ways, one of which is fruit parfait. It can be consumed at any time of the day. It is advised to consult your dietician before making changes to your diet.

Ingredients:

1 cup papaya
-
¼ cup pomegranate
-
1 apple
-
½ cup strawberries
-
1 cup pineapple
-
1 cup low fat hung curd (hang for 30 minutes in a muslin cloth)

½ cup milk
-
3 tablets of artificial sweetener
-
¼ teaspoon vanilla essence
To garnish
-
2 kiwi fruit (peeled and chopped)

5-6 slices of apple
-
1-2 slices of ripe pineapple
Method:

Put papaya in a blender. Blend till smooth.

Put hung yoghurt, papaya puree, milk and vanilla essence in the blender and blend again.

Add artificial sweetener to taste. Keep the papaya whip aside.

Add some papaya pieces, apple pieces, pomegranate and strawberries in the papaya whip.

Coat a narrow glass or a medium bowl with a strawberry crush. Put some pomegranate seeds.

Put a layer of the whip.

Arrange a layer of pineapple pieces on it.

Arrange some kiwi and strawberry pieces along the sides of the glass or bowl.

Put a layer of whip again. Keep in the fridge.

Top with 3-4 thin, tall pieces of apple slices with the peel and serve chilled.
