Chocolate walnut brownies tempt both children and adults alike. The mild smell of freshly baked brownies and chocolate can make anyone irresistible to eat them. Also, walnuts are a good source of healthy fats and are a power food to the heart and the brain. Chocolate walnut brownies can be enjoyed in moderation with hot milk, black coffee or can be consumed as it is.

Makes: 6 Brownies
Ingredients:
- 1 cup curd
- ½ cup skimmed milk powder
- ½ cup cooking oil
- 1 cup artificial sweetener
- 1 ½ cup wheat flour
- 1 ¼ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- ¾ cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 12-14 pieces walnut halves
Method:
- Mix curd, cooking oil and skim milk powder.
- Add wheat flour, baking soda, baking powder, cocoa powder and vanilla essence.
- Add milk to achieve required consistency. Add artificial sweetener and mix properly.
- Take a baking dish 6" by 6". Grease it with oil and dust some wheat flour.
- Pour the mixture in it. Crush walnut halves with hands and sprinkle it all over the batter.
- Place the dish in a preheated oven at 150 degrees Celsius and bake for 40-50 minutes.
- Let the preparation cool. Cut it into 6 equal pieces.
