In a pan add 100 ml of water. Add ¼ tsp of oil and a pinch ofsalt. Let this mixture come to a boil.1. Add powdered oats first and stir. Then add rice flour immediately and mix the flour with water.2. Stir till the flour mixes with the water. Switch off the flame. Remove the pan from the burner. Cover the pan with a lid for 4-5 minutes.3. Finely chop all the fruits and dry fruits. Mix all together and keep aside.4. Now take the dough in a plate and begin to knead it. The dough will be hot when you begin to knead. So apply some water on your palms and knead the dough till it becomes soft.5. Make small balls from the dough. Take one ball and flatten it with your fingers or on your palms to a round disc or a shallow bowl shape.1. Place the modak filling in the center. Press the edges of the bowl shape. Bring together all the edges and join them. Remove the extra dough from the top.2. Keep all the modaks in steamer and steam for 10-15 min.3. Let the steamer cool.
