Cauliflower Rice

Cauliflower rice is fantastic paired with Indian gravy dishes. You can substitute the turmeric with garam masala or paprika powder to suit your taste buds.

Preparation time: 20 minutes

Serving size: Makes 2 servings


  • 375 g cauliflower
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp turmeric (optional)
  • 50 g butter or coconut oil


  1. Shred the entire cauliflower head in a food processor.
  2. Melt butter or coconut oil in a skillet. Add the cauliflower and cook over medium heat for 5-10 minutes or until the shredded cauliflower has softened a bit.
  3. Add salt and turmeric while frying.
  4. You can also cook the grated cauliflower in the microwave. Put it in a glass bowl, cover it and microwave it for 5-6 minutes. Mix in the butter or coconut oil and let it melt.
