Ingredients
- 2 cups raw peanuts with their skin on
- 4 tablespoon gram flour (besan)
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 teaspoon or more of chilli powder (depending upon preferred spice level)
- ¼ teaspoon Asafoetida (Hing)
- A few curry leaves
- Salt, as per taste
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder or ginger- garlic paste (optional)
Method
- Mix all the ingredients in a big bowl along with a little water. The mixture should be a little thick and not too
- Spread them out on a greased baking sheet and bake them at 350-degree F for 30 minutes, mixing them around every 10 minutes to aid in even
- At the end of 20 minutes keep an eye on the peanuts as they may bake quickly and get burnt.
- Remove them from the oven earlier if you feel that the peanuts have been adequately baked.
