Finger millet smoothie (Ragi)

Makes 1 serving

Preparation time – 5 minutes

Cooking time – 15 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1½ teaspoons ragi flour

  • 1 medium apple

  • 6 to 8 almonds

  • 1 teaspoon flax seeds

  • 1 tablespoon soaked sabja seeds

  • Cinnamon powder to taste

  • 2 teaspoons skimmed milk powder

Method:

1)     In a bowl take ragi flour and add a little water to it.

2)     Mix well and cook it on low flame

3)     After completely cooking it, allow it to cool completely.

4)     Then add apple, soaked and peeled almonds, flax seeds, cinnamon powder and skimmed milk powder to it and blend it.

5)     Rest it for 30 minutes in the fridge to cool completely.

6)     While serving add 1 tablespoon of soaked subja seeds.
